Investing in real estate in order to get a Green Card leads to some problems:
1. One of the EB-5 visas criterion says that you have to create at least 10 jobs. And it is hard to imagine how you will be creating 10 jobs by just investing in the properties.
2. Another criterion of the EB5 program says that your investments should be at risk. Investing in real estate is not risky at all because properties in the U.S are liquid and you have a very little chance to lose your money.
